WOLF ceiling mounted ventilation units
whisper-quiet, economical, reliable

FB-A Ultra

Evenly warmed or pleasantly cool
The "Ultra" model satisfies some very upscale demands both technically and visually. And it is not at all out of place in exclusive surroundings.
The Ultra blows air out on six sides at a downward angle of 15°, enabling it to achieve particularly uniform distribution of conditioned air in the room.
FB-A Ultra ceiling mounted ventilation units are designed for heating only or for combined heating/cooling operation (FB-A-K).
Units with cooling are equipped with a condensate pan underneath the cooling coil and a condensate pump.
Benefits
- extremely quiet thanks to AC orEC sickle-profile blades
- side discharge
- top intake, either above or below the ceiling
- heating medium connection at top
- individually adjustable directional air louvers
- condensate pump
- condensate pan
- delivered fully wired and with hoses in place
- recirculating air, mixed air and outdoor air operation
- WOLF-tronic control unit
- stepless, 2-stage or 5-stage
Endless possibilities
The FB-A Ultra ceiling mounted ventilation unit is a multifaceted addition to the range of heating and cooling options for ceiling heights ranging from around 2.5 to 5 m.
Typical installation locations include exhibit and reception rooms, supermarkets, shopping centers, stores, furniture dealerships, greenhouses, offices and more.

FB-A Ultra plus

For top airflow rates
The "Ultra plus" model in the FB-A series adds a diagonal fan to the Ultra line for top airflow rates. Thanks to its diagonal airflow and low noise levels, the FB-A Ultra plus ceiling mounted ventilation units can be installed anywhere where the FB-A Ultra units cannot deliver adequate performance due to their low pressure axial fans.
The Ultra plus works effortlessly for larger rooms as well – and extremely quietly. The special scooped profile of the fan wheel also produces extremely low energy consumption.
Benefits
- extremely quiet thanks to AC orEC sickle-profile blades
- side discharge
- top intake, either above or below the ceiling
- heating medium connection at top
- individually adjustable directional air louvers
- condensate pump
- condensate pan
- delivered fully wired and with hoses in place
- recirculating air, mixed air and outdoor air operation
- WOLF-tronic control unit
- stepless, 2-stage or 5-stage
- high performance fan
- extremely quiet, adjustable speed external rotor motor
- can attain up to twice the airflow
- can deliver high compression
- profiled mounting frame
Airflow rate

Maximum comfort
Recirculating air operation
With recirculating air operation, air is drawn in from the room being heated and then discharged back into the same room after it has been heated.
This mode results in the lowest operating costs.
Mixed air operation
With mixed air operation, fresh air (the proportion of fresh air can be adjusted) is drawn into the unit along with indoor air.
This mode reduces heating costs (since a certain amount of air from the room that has already been heated is used), while at the same time meeting the need for fresh air.
Outdoor air operation
With outdoor air operation, the air for heating or cooling is drawn in directly from the outside.
This mode ensures clean and unused air, provided the outdoor conditions are appropriate.
